Dress Code – K – 12
The dress code at Grace Christian Academy is spirited by the biblical wisdom from Romans
13:14,” Rather cloth yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to
gratify the desires of the flesh.” Hence, we are to cloth ourselves in a way that demonstrates
neatness, cleanliness and modesty that brings reverence to God. 1 Peter 3:2-5 references that
one’s beauty should come from “that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and
quiet spirit which is of great worth in God’s sight.” In following God’s wisdom, the dress code is
designed to prepare our students to be a light in the world through their inner beauty. The
following guidelines are designed to provide guidance to help our students dress clean, neat
and modest while attending Grace Christian Academy.
PLEASE NOTE: All students will be required to obtain at least 1 red short sleeve GCA logo t-shirt for field trips and school events. There are currently 4 ways to obtain a red logo shirt. The 3 listings below all offer them (French Toast will offer them when the site opens) as well as if you are able to make your own.

Dress Code Violations
Hebrews 13:7 teaches that we should honor and submit to those who lead us. These guidelines were created and approved with principles of cleanliness, modesty and neatness that honor God. Violations of the dress code will be seen as a lack of respect towards God and the school.
1st Violation: the student will be asked to change their attire (T-shirts and polo’s are available if needed).
2nd Violation: The student will be asked to change; parent will be contacted.
3rd Violation: The student will serve a lunch detention and review the dress code in writing. The student will have further consequences for each violation beyond three which is left at the discretion of the administrator.
The dress code along with all policies will be reviewed periodically and modified as needed.
If a family is unable to comply with the dress code due to financial concerns, please notify the administrator who will try to assist with donations or use of our clothing closet. GCA asks for your cooperation with the established dress code and that you sign the form below to acknowledge your understanding of the dress code.
